These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Scentry — Smell Training application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Scentry is an iOS application that helps you carry out and track smell (olfactory) training for recovering your sense of smell. Features include guided twice-daily training sessions with a per-scent timer, intensity and clarity ratings, a parosmia distortion log with safe-vs-trigger food tracking, recovery trend charts, scent rotation and custom scents, and the option to export a one-page summary as PDF or your full history as CSV.

2. Medical Disclaimer & Important Limitations

Scentry is a self-tracking and education tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. You understand and agree that:

• The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or ENT specialist about your symptoms and recovery.
• Smell training is a self-directed exercise. The App does not measure your sense of smell with any sensor — every rating, distortion entry, and chart is based on data you self-report.
• The App does not guarantee any recovery outcome. Smell recovery varies widely from person to person, and many factors are outside the App's scope.
• Any exported summary (PDF or CSV) is a record of your self-reported entries to aid a conversation with your clinician — it is not a clinical assessment or test result.
• If you experience new or worsening symptoms, seek the advice of a qualified health professional. Do not delay seeking care because of something you tracked in the App.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Rely on the App as a medical diagnosis or as a replacement for professional care
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source or assets
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free-tier limitations
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or third-party rights

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: No charge, no account. Unlimited guided training, reminders, intensity and clarity ratings, your recovery snapshot, and your first 7 parosmia distortion entries.
• Premium Monthly: $4.99/month. Unlimited parosmia logging with safe-vs-trigger food tracking, full multi-week recovery trends, the one-page ENT PDF and CSV export, scent rotation, and unlimited custom scents.
• Premium Annual: $29.99/year (save 50% vs. monthly), with a 7-day free trial. Same Premium feature set as monthly.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If you cancel during the free trial before it ends, you will not be charged.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers retain their original price for the remainder of the active term.

5. User Content

Your training history, parosmia logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device. You retain all rights to your data. We do not access, collect, or store your content on any server.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and packaged content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT USE OF THE APP WILL RESULT IN ANY PARTICULAR RECOVERY OUTCOME.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Health decisions made based on data you tracked or exported from the App
• Any delay in seeking professional medical care
• Loss of locally stored data due to user error or device failure
• Subscription-related charges that fall under Apple's billing policy

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App in a manner not permitted by these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
